Michael R. Corsello
Michael Corsello has been practicing in the areas of criminal and personal injury for over 20 years. His criminal clientele range from blue collar workers to celebrities and CEOs. He has handled a vast range of cases from murder, sexual assault and white collar crimes to criminal mischief. In his 30 years of experience he has represented over a thousand individuals charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Attorney Corsello has lectured his colleagues on this subject and participated in National Symposiums including the National DWI college.
He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers League. He currently serves as Chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the Regional Bar Association. Attorney Corsello has organized and acted as moderator for numerous continuing education programs in the area of criminal law. Attorney Corsello has lectured to his peers on various topics including sexual assault defense, alternative resolutions of criminal cases. In 1985 and 1991 he was selected to serve as the Law Day chairman for the Regional Bar Association.
Michael R. Corsello has been awarded a 2011 Rating of BV Distinguished by Martindale-Hubbell. The BV Distinguished Rating means a Very High Rating in Both Legal Ability & Ethical Standards.
Attorney Corsello is extensively involved in his local community. He currently serves as chairman of the Norwalk Fire Commission. From 1984 to 1986, he was a member of the Fair Rent Commission. In 1990, he served on the Charter Revision Commission and from 1995 to 1998, he was a member of the Oak Hills Park Commission and served as its chairman.
Attorney Corsello received his JD degree from Suffolk University Law School, and his BA degree from the University of Connecticut.
Attorney Corsello has served on the Board of Directors for various local non-profit organizations including Connecticut Counseling Centers and the Norwalk YMCA.
